Cyclist Awareness Warning Systems
We supply and install cyclist awareness warning systems
to commercial vehicles so that the driver is alerted to the
presence of nearby pedestrians and cyclists in the vehicle's
blinds spots. We initially developed our system back in
2004 for Cemex. Since then we have supplied and installed
hundreds of these systems to Cemex, Crossrail and other companies.
We have two different systems available.
Sensor-based system
This system works when the vehicle is indicating left.
An audible alert or visual read-out notifies the driver of
a pedestrian
or cyclist within the vehicle's blind spots. This also warns
the cyclist or pedestrian with a spoken message of the vehicle's
intentions so that they may take evasive action.
Speaker-only system
When the vehicle is indicating left this system warns
the cyclist or pedestrian with a spoken message of the vehicle's
intentions so that they may take evasive action.
Technical Details
Our systems work on either 12 volt or 24 volt DC.
